Our Story
Why We Went Independent
Couch Insurance Group is led by Joe Couch, who began his career as a captive agent representing a single insurance company. He saw how often clients were turned away, or paid more than they should, simply because one company’s guidelines didn’t fit their situation. So he went independent.
In 2018, his son, Joe Couch Jr., joined the agency, and today the two of them lead a small team of licensed professionals. The Couch family has run an independent agency in Indiana since 2011.
Being independent means we work for you, not for an insurance company. We represent both national and regional carriers, which lets us present real options and keep shopping as your life and business change.
